Hi everyone. Got out of surgery about 2 hours ago. I am feeling so so so much better. Less pressure, less weight on my chest, my chest isn’t pulling. I tried 5,040ccs each, didn’t work. So, here’s what happened: My skin on right breast was stretched so damn thin that I was days away from my expander poking through skin. I could not believe my skin just could not take it and SO thankful my Dr. acted swiftly and we had surgery today. I’m 3,000ccs each. My skin in a little area was too thin so Dr had to cut it out and fold skin together to get healthy tissue/skin. It sounds gnarly, kind of is but I can not express how happy I am that I didn’t have an infection, that I didn’t have to xplant, that I am healthy and that I can finally start to heal soon. This is a sign, I can not handle that size. I have my post op tomorrow so I’ll know more but I’m tearing up because this has not been an easy 1 month for me to recover. I would have my days where I thought “ok we are good” but then issues again. I just really needed to downsize and glad we did it before anything super serious happened. I am not thinking of “filling” or anything like that. I just want to heal and think 3,000ccs is a good number for me to be at. Ok, I’m off to relax and watch Halloween movies. Love y’all and please know, I’m 💯 ok, and truly ok not being over 5k. That size just isn’t for me.

Due to appointments lately with my Dr., we have been discussing the best options for the issues I’m having on my right boob and it’s best that I have surgery today. My right boob just can not heal properly. I’ll have to downsize quite a bit, probably 3500ccs, maybe 4000ccs. Dr will see once he gets in there. There is just too much pressure on right boob and my skin is stretched to the max. We have no idea what happened, but need to have surgery before anything bad happens. My Dr told me to make me peace that I’ll never be able to get to 5000ccs again. My right boob just can not take it. I’m emotional right now. I don’t care about downsizing, I don’t care about any of that. I’m just tired and so exhausted of all this. Whatever size I end up at, I’m done. I just can’t continue to do this to my body. I am fortunate we can fix it and that it’s not an infection. I’ll update everyone later or tomorrow on how surgery went. For now, I just ask people not to judge, there’s just risks every time you go under and you gotta prepare yourself for potential issues. I hope everyone is ok and having an amazing Monday🤗

Hey everyone. So my drain was taken out on Friday, everything was great but now I have more fluid building up again on my right boob. I have an appointment today where I’m 99% positive he’ll have to put the drain back in and probably take some saline out of my right boob. I just can’t seem to heal fully on right side and think decreasing size will help to heal. I’ll keep y’all up to date. I’m getting irritated with this healing and thought everything was ok. But, this happens sometimes so I just need to do what I can to stay positive. Wanted to let y’all know.

HAPPY OCTOBER 1st from the Welsh household 🎃👻🦇💀 •I have my front yard decorations done just waiting on two things to come in the mail for our backyard before I post that video. •I absolutely LOVE to decorate, LOVE the spooky season and LOVE transforming my home for a few months. •This year for Halloween my husband will be Buzz Lightyear (from original Toy Story movie), I’ll be Jessie, my youngest son will be Woody and my oldest son will be Freddy Krueger from the very first movie (in the first movie his sleeves are not striped, just front is so I found one on Etsy along with a mask. Mask is absolutely terrifying!! He also has the glove which surprisingly has some weight to it.) This is a much longer healing process but slow and steady. My left boob needs to drop some, my right boob still sits the same and looks fuller but in time we’ll see what happens😊 Right boob is a little red from drain and stitches but I give it a few months and it’ll be right as rain🥰 I am being super uber careful, not pushing my myself and just really want to have a successful heal. The bigger you go, the less you or a dr have a say in where your boobs will sit so I just need to let the girls do there thing and continue to be patient🤗 I’ll post more once I’m dressed, hair done and all that jazz but really excited for this journey and want to show y’all how I’m doing this far. As far as working out- I have lost some tightness in stomach, my butt isn’t as high up as before and my thighs aren’t as tight but I have so much determination and when the time is right, I’ll start working out again😊

Gooooooood morning 🥰 My right boob will be sensitive/swollen for a little bit as I just had my drain taken out yesterday (it stings a wee bit) but wanted to show y’all how I look now😃 Healing is going great, all stitches were taken out yesterday except one tiny one on right nipple as it’s where the drain was inserted so Dr wants it to close fully and heal but it’s a teeny tiny one that will get taken out on Wednesday. I hope everyone is great❤️ Soon I’ll be able to start filming and posting more and I can not waittttttttttt!!!!! I’m only 3 weeks post op so please keep in mind as it’ll take months until until I fully settle and heal internally (but don’t worry, I’ll start filming as soon as right nipple heals, about a week or so).

Hi everyone. Unfortunately I stillllllll have the drain in so there’s not much I can post but weird angles, lol. I have an appointment tomorrow so I’m hoping to either get it out or have a better time line for when it will. I am sorry I haven’t posted anything, there’s nothing I really can post. Things have been ok here, I stopped working out completely to heal fully and just don’t want to rush anything. Hopefully everyone is great❤️

Hi everyone. I had another appointment today to look at drain and unfortunately I still have too much fluid so drain has to stay in. Basically it’s this- my left boob has enough soft tissue so any fluid gets quickly absorbed into the body. My right boob has little soft tissue and the expander is still firm so any fluid that my boob collects just sits in right boob causing swelling, pain, redness and if left untreated, a possible infection (if I did not put drain in). I’m healing really great, fluid is going down a lot more than before and I have no swelling or pain. Dr thinks Friday I’ll get drain out but I’m thinking next week. Just wanted to let y’all know. I am healing really great on left (one exposed) boob, just still have stitches. This was a pretty big surgery for me so it’ll just take time. I’ll do my best to update and post and I thank everyone for being patient.
