Added 2023-09-20 00:11:15 +0000 UTCHi everyone. I had another appointment today to look at drain and unfortunately I still have too much fluid so drain has to stay in. Basically it’s this- my left boob has enough soft tissue so any fluid gets quickly absorbed into the body. My right boob has little soft tissue and the expander is still firm so any fluid that my boob collects just sits in right boob causing swelling, pain, redness and if left untreated, a possible infection (if I did not put drain in). I’m healing really great, fluid is going down a lot more than before and I have no swelling or pain. Dr thinks Friday I’ll get drain out but I’m thinking next week. Just wanted to let y’all know. I am healing really great on left (one exposed) boob, just still have stitches. This was a pretty big surgery for me so it’ll just take time. I’ll do my best to update and post and I thank everyone for being patient.
