Oh boy
My reaction to my 2nd dose is rough. This is from the day after when it took me an hour to get out of bed just sobbing and whimpering the whole time from how intense my pain was. I was prepared for like a bad flu or something but this was next level. It flared everything so badly. It felt like I hadn't slept and missed all my meds for weeks. Also had some extra exhausting fever sweats for a couple of days (trying to change out of cold wet clothes with one arm immobilized from extreme pain is an adventure π£)
I really wasn't sure if I was brave enough to post this, it sucks to feel so vulnerable, but yous give me strength and I know I have a lot of chronically ill Cosmians, many of whom may be having similar issues with the vaccines and I wanted them to know they're not alone. However bad they are they're still far less dangerous than covid, we just gotta focus on rest and heal (yea I kno, I'm not good at it either haha).
Just FYI for the first clip I was in so much pain everywhere I was having difficulty thinking and talking. It was so bad it gave me tachycardia (heart rate too high), that second clip was once my meds had started working a lil so it was prolly higher during the first clip.
When I scrunch up at the start that was a flash of intense chest pain from my heart being tachy (again, ironically only there from high pain levels), it knocked me for a spin and made me not be able to sentence for a bit longer than anticipated but I didn't have enough energy in me to try and retake it.
And if you missed the hubbub on twitter a few days ago I had a ministroke a couple weeks ago I'm still recovering from, so all this just really piled up and knocked me on my arse rly hard.
My pain levels have come down significantly in the last couple of days though I still feel like a zombie I'm so exhausted and out of it still. Trying to do my best to be patient and not push myself but as you kno that's definitely something I struggle with. Also trying to remind myself as shitty as this is A still better than covid and B reminds me to be grateful my pain levels are so much better on average than they used to be π₯Ί
If you've been able to get your 2nd dose how'd you handle it?

LIL BB CLARA COSPLAY!
Thought I would do a major throwback to the first cosplay I did that was like a creative version of my own making (mostly what I do now haha but I also have made quite a few fully accurate cosplays when I was less sick like my leeloo Ellie and cheryl).

Also my rescue kitty had just given birth a few weeks earlier so making that tutu was a nightmare. I had to keep yards and yards of fabric sorted pleating all the layers together but the only place with enough room was my hallway so I couldn't lock the kitties out and lemme tell you FOUR KITTENS DID NOT HELP THINGS

As some of you may know I've been having an extra rough couple of weeks. I've been in survival mode for so long and my mental health/self esteem has been spiraling so I wanted to do something to help with that.
