Here's what I wrote about the song after a deep dive in with my passions.
This song pulled my heart, I focused on showing my heart and the space that I occupy between an aquatic and a land animal. I love the welcoming warmth of the water but love to retrospect in the blue that surrounds it. Water is clear but is so often depicted as blue as it reflects the sky above. What do you reflect as you open your heart space? Music, love, laughter, life?
33 hours from start to finish this gem arises. When Gustaf Brandt sent this music over he’d created from Little Sunshine I was in love! We worked out a deal and I was off to the music video creation.
The morning of the second day of filming I woke with a new song I’ve been working on stuck in my head, I’d been dreaming about music. I was off to work in the pool by 8 a.m. I’ve spent 4 hours editing on the second day and I’ve lost track of how many hours went into the first day. I had 44 minutes filmed for this 3 minute song but cut some footage to bring us down to 33 minutes.
