It was a spring night in Chicago when the rising temperatures mix with the lake and blankets the city in fog. It was the type of night that makes you think of a 1940’s film noir starring Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall.
I was waiting for a bus that seemed like it was never going to arrive when a curly haired blond man materialized out of the mist and rushed up to me.
