For years, she has stalked you from the shadows. Following you through every stage of your life: every city, every job, every loss, and every gain. Ashton has always been there, plotting.
After years of conducting various experiments, she has finally perfected her practice.
“Today’s the day, my sweet. You WILL be mine.” she whispers to herself as she sneakily approaches you from behind.
You feel a sharp pinch in your back before everything goes dark.
After regaining focus, it is clear to you what has happened, but it does not seem at all possible. Rapid blinking does not allow any adjustments, still, everything around you seems enormously out of proportion.
You are startled further by the sound of a thunderous rhythm approaching. Looking across the room, you see a piece of dirt bouncing up and down with each rumble. Your trance is broken as a colossal foot encompasses the piece of dirt.

Ashton had been searching the house for hours. Behind every appliance, under every table, inside every cabinet. She even checked a few spots twice, thinking she heard something move. Ashton was exhausted and a little mad. After all, the game of hide and seek she invited you to play was intended to be in her favor. The deal was if she found you, you had to “join her for lunch”. Unsure exactly what she meant by this, it raised the stakes of the game a bit. So, you cheated. You ran away from her and changed hiding places every chance you could. You wore yourself out jumping and running all throughout the house. By the time she was there, you couldn’t move before it was too late. Don’t you wish you’d taken your chances with that lunch date??

I was enjoying a typical day getting ready for work. All my pets were tucked away in their safe spaces. Almost ready to leave, I realized I forgot my socks and had to return to my bedroom. Upon opening my drawer, I discover you are missing! Enraged and concerned, I frantically look around and spot you up in my window. Snatching you up in my hand, I can see the sheer terror on your face. Escape attempts will not be tolerated. And trying to climb out my second-story window??
