A follow up to my π¦ April Showers π¦ set from last month! They bring May Flowers of course π while the April set was natural and playful, this one is very romantic with a milk bath, flowers, and candles! I know I say this almost every time, but this is seriously one of the best sets I have ever shot. So here's your first preview plus some Behind the Scenes shots π unfortunately you can hardly see the rose petals in most photos because they ended up sinking to the bottom π€£ and I didn't use enough half and half so the water isn't super milky. I think you will get the idea anyways π more previews will be posted as we get closer to next Tuesday!

On the OF hang out stream last night, we had the idea of doing a shoot with "a band shirt, knee high socks, glasses, while making coffee." I really loved getting input and trying my best to put the idea together! It took FOREVER to take these photos because the lighting in my kitchen is absolutely horrible π€£ I ended up having to take the glasses off after a few shots because they were creating really bad shadows over my eyes so you couldn't even see them π₯ the backsplash ended up looking SO COOL though! So it was worth it π€£ my favorite shot of the set is me reaching in my cabinet for a coffee mug. As you can see, I am short so I have to really reach for it π€£

I finally did my Jill Valentine shoots last night π it was AMAZING! Johnathan came over and acted as my human tripod and lighting assistant! It took HALF the time I normally take to do a shoot - and we flew through 2 full shoots in just 3 hours instead of the 6 it would have taken me to do by myself! OMG I cannot even begin to tell you how awesome that was ππ thank you for helping me reach 150% of my goal last month πππ This was so fun, I got to teach my assistant more which will help me in the future, and we got some awesome shots! I will be editing the pics and release to everyone for Free through a DM as soon as they are done!

π€ Reward for reaching 150% of my Goal for the month of April π€ Free Cosplay and Lingerie versions of Jill Valentine!
It took me a while to figure out what could POSSIBLY be good enough to send to everyone since we went SO far beyond my goal last month! But I think a free set of closet cosplay and lingerie would be perfect! I havent done one of these since gosh... my Raven cosplay like, 4 earth cycles (can't say yrs π€£) ago? π€ I was really trying to remember! The only thing I bought was the walkie talkie, holster light, and blue tank top! I had everything else. And I made the badge, pouch, and necklace π
With the badge, it's simply a picture I found online, printed out, cut and backed with foam. The first one I printed was too small. Then I thought it was also too light so I adjusted it in photoshop. And I liked the foam backing to be thicker than I originally had! I beveled the edges and painted them gold. Pretty quick and easy!
For the pouch, I used a foam pattern I made for my Invicta Girl shoot a few years ago. Just cut to foam, glue together edges with contact cement, sprayed with plastidip and textures with acrylic paint to give more of a leather look and not make it so flat. I just used a button for the "closure." It's actually still just glued closed π€£ I thought the solid bright gold was too "batman" and I liked the way the star matched the badge!
I found the PERFECT thing for her necklace today! I dont really know what it's for (I guess some sort of engraving). I was just looking for the right shape and material and bam! Then just some simple suede cording π

Tomorrow I have to go roll around in the mud to get my outfit looking dirty π€£ I know there are other ways to do faux distress but I think just using actual dirt will be faster... or a disaster! Haha my new cosplay motto!
I'm doing the shoot tomorrow so I will be editing this weekend! I hope you guys like this idea and it's a good reward for being so supportive last month π

It has been a long time since I made an elf π banjo ate one of my ears after this π€£ I decided to include some regular "just JVD" pics, indoor elf, and outdoor elf all in this set since they were each popular! π New Set Releasing Tomorrow π This Year's Easter Dress
I tried to do a cute story for this shoot! I love the light through the window and how it makes my dress and hair glow. Even though I couldn't go outside, I did my best to still make it a fun, spring time feel. Also the feedback from my Easter dress shoot last year was maybe I should have added a little bit of spice so I made sure to do that this year π I am so happy I finally got to decorate my living room because it makes taking cute pics in my house so much easier!
I started making Tuesdsays my "get ready for the week" day. Stretch, work out, wash my hair, plan my shoots, set my goals for the rest of the week... it's been going pretty well! I'm trying to take Sundays and Mondays off so I have a normal routine again. Hopefully this will be a good plan for me going into the future!

Last year I wore a cute dress and did an outdoor shoot with pretty flowers outside and an Easter basket. But it is supposed to rain the day I am planning to take pics this year π now I don't know what to do!

I found these at Walmart in the little boys section π€£ they are a size 10 and very tight haha. I thought they looked cute anyways! I love the Bat Symbol with the all grey look. It really makes it stand out!
Also I will be releasing my longest video EVER! 25 minutes of me relaxing and listening to some music, one long take and completely unedited. This is basically what I wish I could do on Twitch.
