I made pasta sauce from scratch! I roasted onion, garlic and bell peppers in olive oil and blended them w sun dried tomatoes, bssil and tomato sauce base (+ spices) tobmake a beautiful sauce. I ate it over a lentil pasta with vegan parmesan cheese. It was actually really good. The pasta sauce especially. I love the lentil pasta. It has so much protein and great flavor. I also mixed vegan butter w garlic, vegan mozzarella and vegan parmesan to make a really delicious cheese dip for the bread, which I topped w fresh basil. This whole meal was delicious, filling and all vegan. I switched a few weeks ago and I have felt so good since. I cheated w a slice of pizza and had indigestion for 2 days that woke me up early the first morning. I don't miss feeling like that. I like feeling light, healthy and energetic. I am going to stick with this. It's good for animals and good for my body.

This is my favorite protein powder. It's organic, vegan and has so much good stuff in it. I put a scoop in my coffee to make it a mocha and i don't even need to add sweetener now. I make my coffee w almond milk so it's delicious and healthy. 😋 Get healthy with me this year in the most delicious ways!

Here is another art nude I shot trying to reconnect with my creative side. I think it's working. I ordered a black backdrop with stand, new lighting and an interesting prop to shoot art nudes with. It seems to be my passion. I really want to go shoot b&w landscapes on and under a big cliff by the ocean on a cloudy day, with art nudes in it, like silhouettess. Like Ansel Adams w a little nude silhouette in there somewhere. A "where's Waldo" w nudity, lol, but w beautiful nature. If you didn't know, the Ansel Adams yosemite black and white images were the first b&w artistic photos to captivate me. I have loved b&w photography ever since. Creating my own is so much fun. I love the way the light envelops and bends around subjects and the darkness you can capture. I'm not feeling the holidays this year but I'll pop on cam soon and we can all take a break from that stuff and talk about other things if you like. I'm still getting my place situated. Getting my pantry stocked, cookware and bakeware, all of my essentials figured out. I'm already getting my creative spirit back though. Dreaming of what I'd like to shoot is a big step. My mind had been full of the practicalities of life for too long. It's nice to let the creative side take over. I find such joy and peace in it.
