The look and feel of film always hits different for me. Ironically, there is a certain raw truth in something that's messy, blurred, and slightly confusing to the eye and likewise the mind. A crisp, clear image is nice to look at, but lacks mystery and depth by nature if what we see is what we get. Film muddles our reality because what we see is ultimately something different, warped, and teeming with a multitude of possibilities and interpretations. A thousand stories untold in a single image. A depth you wouldn't otherwise be able to explore if there was none at all to begin with... I still can't believe that I have this platform to unapologetically share my art, stories, theories, jokes, and entire self. Polaroids are always the most fun because they can be edited, altered, or photoshopped. They are a moment caught in time that will forever stand still in the hands of whoever is lucky enough to keep them. Memories made to hold close to the heart. I will forever cherish the significance of such a simple sight. Taken by @deceptiveperspective on a hike when @stephinspace and I decided to get naked per usual. The freedom of being naked outside and everywhere we go is something I do not take for granted. It's such a fucking blessing to be able to liberate my body in this world despite the "flaws" that society bestows upon our minds. Fuck that.
