Look who came to visit me this morning right outside my window! 🥹❤️ the sweetest wild toucan ever, he stayed with me for almost an hour. It’s so special to have these interactions with wild animals 🫶🏼
Are you a Star Wars fan? 😊 I didn’t watch the movies up until about 1 and a half years ago 🤭 is that terrible?haha! I missed wishing you all May the 4th be with you because i stay on an island that doesn’t always have good enough wifi working to upload onto here - travel is my best friend until i have to deal with Wi-Fi that doesn’t work 🙈
Hey loves! I wanted to share a little peak into what my life has been this past month ~ just me, the ocean and the beautiful wild life of the Caribbean 🐚 I’m really feeling like a mermaid every day, swimming, scuba diving, snorkelling, I’ve become a full on beach bum now after spending all my time in the mountains between South Africa, India and South America 😊 But… I love being basically naked all day 😻 I’m very grateful to be experiencing the beauty of the Caribbean ocean 🙏🏼
I can’t believe that my trip through South America has come to an end
After 14 months of full on traveling, adventuring and integrating deeply into South America, I have made my way to Central America to start my next journey of about 14 months here.
Oh, South America - there is just no way I could ever explain how much natural beauty, dramatic scenery, unreal experiences, never-ending adventures are there.
This is truly such a special place in the world and I am so so grateful I had so much time in the countries I visited to do and see everything my heart desired and so much more - from nature to culture to animals, I can just never explain in words the feelings of being there and experiencing it for yourself ❤️
I am not sad to leave South America because I know with my whole heart I will be returning in the near future, especially to all my favourite places 🥰
I am excited for the next year of exploring the ocean and being in beautiful tropical weather 🌸
I am finally starting to feel better, like an almost normal functioning human again! These last 2 days with food poisoning have been some of the sickest days I’ve ever experienced but so happy to be coming out on the other side of it now! I’m spending the day resting in bed and drinking tea and lots of water and catching up on the things I had planned to do over the weekend. I hope you all had a better weekend than I did 🥰
Ugh, I have been feeling SO ill since yesterday from food poisoning. I have been puking all day today for over 12 hours straight… and I’m feeling so dehydrated with a headache and a very sore throat from all the vomiting. Nothing I take or drink is staying down, not even a few sips of water 😞 I really hope I can get some sleep tonight so my body can heal! Please send healing vibes my way 🥹🥰 xxx
Today is my last day in southern Patagonia 😭🤍 I will miss this magical region of the world SO much!
I love being in the mountains, always surrounded by at least one snowy peak or an entire range, with beautiful glacier lakes and ocean fjords, i love the unbelievable mountain formations that make this region so unique and the treks that take your breath away around every corner, I love being in these cute towns and small cities that are just a step away from the most beautiful sceneries on earth.
I am so so so grateful to have lived here for 2 months ~ and it definitely won’t be the last time! I knew coming into my South America trip that I was the most excited about 3 of the places I was visiting and those 3 have become the regions of the world I will always return to: Sacred Valley in Peru, the Galápagos Islands and Patagonia in Chile & Argentina🤍
The mountains gift you a sense of freedom & a feeling that your feet can take you across the earth, to places so raw & so wild, to the peaks & views that make you feel like you’re on top of the world… it’s a connection to the mountains you carry with you always!
I have been in the Himalayas & Andes consecutively for so long now, but a great love for the ocean awakened in me in the Galapagos that I am so excited to explore deeper for the next 2 years in Central America ~ this will be the longest time I’ve ever been away from the mountains🤍
Thank you Patagonia for blessing me with the most unforgettable memories and experiences 🙏🏼
I am 29 today!! 🥰 I couldn’t have asked for a better year of being 28! As I was creating this video, i thought back to January 15th 2022 and I never could have imagine what this year would bring me😭❤️ My heart overflows with gratitude for everything I’ve experienced in this cycle around the sun ~ I knew I would be travelling South America but I didn’t know how many goosebumps, breathtaking, life changing, body challenging, fear facing, eyes leaking, other worldly, heart connecting experiences I would have that will stay with me forever. All I can say is that with every moment on this journey my appreciation for life deepens and reaches into the depths of my cells in a way I will never be able to put into words. I spent so much time in the deserts & mountains this year, but I also had a deep love for the ocean awakened within me which is guiding me to dive deeper into this year ~ I feel so excited to explore this beautiful earth in a way I never have before 🤍 From under the sea to a 6000m summit, 28 has come with so much ~ so much love, so much abundance, so much presence and gratitude ~ so much that I will carry with me into the final year of my 20s 🌸 I am so thankful for everyone who has supported me in this journey every step of the way ~ my family and friends, my partner, my lovely customers who support my art and everyone who has become a part of my community here and on @touchedbynature Thankful, grateful, heartful ❤️
(I couldn’t save this video with the song 🙈 I’m very technically challenged haha! But you can watch the more exciting version with the song on my insta 🥰)
