There is something magical about the ocean...
When I was in Cannes earlier this year before Corona started I just had to go for a swim at night. Even if it has been very cold I enjoyed it with every cell of my body.
The ocean is beautiful, mysterious, wild and free... It can be weaving wild with a storm and even if it looks calm at the surface there is so much in the deep you can not see.
I always feel kind of born again when I get out of the ocean.
I love to be in the nature so much. Especially in the forest..

The woods before sunrise or sunset are so lovely. They let you feel how everything is connected in this universe!

First you see some selfies I took during the shooting with the camera of my phone.
The last two took (obviously) the photograph with his camera while I posed in the right setting.
Selfies vs. Professional
Professional photos are planed to show the model as perfect as possible and photoshop can edit the real photo into the most perfect version of reality. Almost every professional photo is somehow edited, even if it´s just for a little final polish. I think it is great to use Photoshop to make the best out of a photo or to be more creative. But I dont think it is right to turn your body into the "perfect" body you would like to have. For professional pictures you are already perfectly styled and dressed. If you use photoshop to turn your body till you think it looks perfect you tell yourself that your body needs a lot of changes to be pretty. When you look at your photos you will recognize the difference between your look on the pictures and you real looks. This can cause you to be even more upset about your body to not look like you want. Also other people can get disappointed or confused because the real you look too different than the pictured you.
At my first shootings I asked the photographer to edit much more than I do now. Even if it was never so much that people would recognize it and be disappointed I did as many changes as possible. But after a while I learned to just compare my body with itself and to captcha the unique beauty of my body, instead to focus on how much my body look like a beauty ideal. Now I want less photoshop just for a final polish.
You never know jhow much a photo is edited. Therefore, many people like selfies because they supposed to be more natural and less fake. But today you can edit your selfies so much, easy and fast and you can already change your body shape in the video while filming it. Selfies can show a more natural picture because they are taken in the daily life but most selfies will be edited and optimized as well.
So of course I edit most photos in some way...cutting, filter, text or whatever....
But I suggest stop comparing to others so that you do not feel the need to optimize yourself too much..
If I compare the girl in the photos with the one in the mirror in the morning I don´t want to see one familiar and one strange girl. I prefer to see two versions of me...both beautiful and fine how they are.

You see it is not easy to get a good shoot. Behind every good picture there are many fails you will never see... It is hard work to control every part of your face and body and put it the way you want it to look...
