It's the first day of Pride and although normally I would want to wish you all a "happy Pride" that doesn't seem quite right at the moment. I saw someone on twitter say instead of #Pride2020 this year we are doing #Revolution2020 and that seems much more appropriate. Black queers and SWs fought tooth and nail for our right to love who we love and this year our Pride is to protect and uplift them at all costs. All lives can't matter until Black lives matter. ✊🏳️🌈

Perhaps some of you have been wondering where my posts have been lately but if you've seen the news, perhaps not. I'm sure many if not all of you share in my grief and dismay at the recent events and while I welcome the catharsis that comes from revolution, I am nonetheless overwhelmed by it. In the coming days I'd like to start a little fundraiser to assist with bail funds and/or other mutual aid groups supporting those who are trying to bring justice for George Floyd's murder. But, for now I need a little time to process, I'm feeling so emotionally drained I can't think straight. I hope you will forgive my sporadic posts for the time being. I'll probably be posting more throwback content for a while until shooting clips starts to feel more natural again. I love you and thank you all for being such amazing and supportive people. I plan to be on cam at the usual time on Tuesday so I hope to see you all there. Stay safe, stay sane.

I had an absolute blast hanging out with my sister this weekend. She's been in isolation since February so we decided as a family it was safe for her to come over and I'm glad to have her and my mom to ride out this pandemic with me. We didn't get much sleep as we stayed up watching movies a lot but somehow I dont feel as tired as I think I should be, perhaps I'm feeling my spirits a bit lifted and I'm excited to be able to share some of that with all of you tonight! I may be on a bit late because I have to drop my sister back off at home but I'm very much looking forward to our live show. Hope all of you had a wonderful long weekend as well. How are you staying connected with your families?
