The man had been experimenting with a new shrinking device. He had been working on it for months - trying and trying to get the formula just right. He had finally done it - he had managed to shrink himself down to almost nothing - he was about the size of a grain of sand. When his wife came home from the gym, the man was so excited - he had wanted to surprise her, and he had managed to hide himself on the couch. He was curled up in a tiny ball, waiting for her to come sit down so he could jump out and surprise her. As soon as she came in, she went straight into the bathroom to take a shower. He heard the shower running, and he had to hold his breath - it was so exciting, he could hardly wait. But he managed it - he waited patiently, listening to her shower - listening to her singing. Finally, she came out of the bathroom - she removed her sweaty clothes and went to sit down on the couch. He started to yell - but his voice was so tiny, she couldn't hear him. He kept yelling, trying to get her attention - trying to make some kind of sound. But it was no use - she couldn't hear him. And then she sat down - she plopped her butt right down on the couch, on top of him! He was trapped, completely at her mercy - she did not even know he was there.

The man is trapped, stuck on Jules' seat. He's tried screaming for help, but Jules can't hear him - she's talking on the phone, scrolling through her emails, completely oblivious to her surroundings. The man's heart is beating faster and faster, he's running out of time. Finally, Jules reaches her seat, ready to sit - and the man's heart stops. He tries and tries to scream, to yell, to make any sound - but nothing comes out. Just as Jules as sit, the man is crushed - completely squished beneath her weight. He can feel her butt pressing into him - it's warm, and squishy, and suffocating. He feels like he's being suffocated, the air leaving his body. But there is nothing he can do but try to breathe, try to move, try to make some kind of noise. It's hopeless, he's trapped - completely at Jules' mercy - and all he can do is pray that she'll hear him before it's too late...
