My days have been so busy! I am accepting cuddles to relax✨ Got some hair questions from my last post haha! Not sure if you are actually interested in hearing about it but if you are then read on! I love talking about these kinds of things honestly🥰 I used to dye my hair burgundy red in school! And since my natural hair is a dark brown/blackish with red undertones, the harsh red dye STICKS and does not come out. I refuse to cut my hair so I’ve just been putting neutral black/dark brown dye that closely matches my natural hair in 2-3 times a year to even it out with my virgin hair growth. It also neutralizes the harsh red (which is gone now) and all that shows now is my natural red undertones of my dark brown hair! Aww In person you can hardly tell a difference between my virgin hair and the dyed hair… but cameras capture light odd and the dye (despite being super close to my natural hair) shows bluish in certain camera light🤷🏻♀️ and then my virgin hair shows a lighter brown..? In person it doesn’t look blue or light brown in any way! Something to do with the science of light haha! Sooooo sometimes it looks odd in certain camera lighting but in person you can hardly tell at all. I dye my hair here and there still just to even out the shades. Because the dyed hair is a tad bit darker (hardly noticeable in person by now unless in certain light) and so each dye I go a bit lighter each time. So at the time I mostly just dye it twice a year and soon once. Until finally none because my hair is all evened out✨ I COULD just bleach it or cut the darker dyed part. But NOPE👏🏻 I refuse to bleach my hair and I am not going to cut it😤 I honestly don’t mind at all because it’s not a hassle, my hair is healthy, and it’s really only super noticeable in certain selfie lighting.
