My God Kingdom hearts shows it age in certain places. The Ursula and Oogie boogie fights have made me rage today. The fights themselves are not hard, it’s the GOD awful camera angle and janky lock on system. For reference we’re playing on the easiest mode for story and fun but the camera and lock on says no…. For Ursula you have to attack the cauldron to launch fire balls at Ursula to stun her, which then allows you to actually damage her HP. But the camera angle is so bad in that area and numerous times during the fight the lock on would snap off and my fire ball would hit the areas edge and not the cauldron. It made the fight stressful and long, awful. That and MP running out meant you had to hit her eels to gain MP back. Then she would spin endlessly and you’d have 3 enemies to deal with while trying to hit the cauldron 4+ times to stun her….. we did it and then entered the Halloween world at last but the fight was stupidly long due to all this. Halloween world was fine until we got to Oogie Boogie and then I had to come off and come onto Fae farm. You need to pay attention to where Oogie boogie is to press a button and trap him to deal damage only you can’t tilt the camera up to even see him on a higher ledge. I dunno if this is because the aspect ration was different on old TV’s back when the game first came out on ps2…..but other than entering first person view briefly and trying to be quick to press the button, you aren’t seeing where he is. The camera simply refuses to tilt upward that far. So it’s a guesstimate. Due to this I died because his dice kept rolling spinning blades and I kept failing to trap him due to a bad camera and switching views to try and see where he is …..so we’re taking a break from Kingdom hearts Fae farm it is for chill because dang kingdom hearts has pissed me off today. I can’t believe on the easiest difficulty we’re having a bad time in parts due to janky camera angles and lock on.

Mini update on time off. Picnic cancelled due to rain, hoping to do it another day and trick the universe by getting the stuff and not actually planning when to have it lol. Because whenever we plan it the weather turns. Kingdom hearts 1 Final Mix is awesome, really enjoying it. I wish the worlds were bigger but I’m guessing they are in the later games. It could also do with a map because I’ve walked in circles so many times and gotten frustrated. Also the game doesn’t give much direction to the player on where to go next. You can tell it’s age with these mechanics. Otherwise it’s great, gameplay is fun and story is interesting. Plus Final mix looks and runs great in PS5 with all the PS4 Pro upgrades. Colours really pop! Faefarm is fun so far, we played for hours on release day! Cute, magical and just a good pace. Nice and chill. I have a few animals so far and also a bit of a farm going on but I’ve mostly been focussing on crafting, cooking and mine progress! Combat is fun and chill, plus all animations just feel nice. You can jump and traverse how you want which is lovely. I love just jumping off cliffs down into the water and swimming. I really want to be a bee keeper on the game, because the bees look so cute! So whenever I see bees I’m catching them in hopes it’s a Queen Bee in readiness for bee hives. Don’t worry I am taking screenshots of both games!

We completed FF16 yesterday and have started Kingdom Hearts 1 Final Mix! It looks great on PS5 with lol the enhancements it’s had. Runs well and the colours are so vibrant 😃 I’m already smiling from ear to ear seeing all the wonderful characters.
