Added 2025-04-24 06:28:36 +0000 UTCHelp my family and me rebuild our house again!!We are currently homeless and need funds to rebuild our house. There was a flood here and river and city sewer water inundated our house. The water reached 5ft in our house and destroyed everything.
We lost mostly all our stuff and were only able to salvage a few things that were put high on shelves but even those things got mold on them. When we entered our house there was white and green mold spores on the floor, walls and ceiling. The house smelled so bad like raw sewage and the floors were puffy and the walls and cabinets were bulging.
We had to call the police just to get into our house because the doors were swollen to the point we could not open them. My family and I had help from the church to help demo our house and all the affected areas by the sewage water but our house is still left open, without doors and nothing but the bones of the house, foundation and old electrical lines, plumbing lines and water lines are left.
We unsure of the functionality of the electrical, plumbing and water lines but know for that they need to be updated because they have not been updated since 1948, which is the year the house was built. It is an old farmhouse and it has 6 rooms enough for all my family and me! We named our house Marky and he really means so much to us. Please help us, anything helps!!!!!
3 of our cars got destroyed too. The water was so high it covered all 3 of our cars. The name of our cars were Marilyn, bubble butt and Lindsey. I don't know if they will ever be able to be driven again.
So far our house got gutted and it was the christian church who devoted their time and hard work to remove everything from our house that got inundated by river and city sewer water. However, we don't have the funds to rebuild our house. Please help us and I will be posting update photos when we finally get the building process started!!!please share my page and help in any way you can :) I love you guys :)
