

How do I deal with stress? I don't run away from it, I don't hide it under my pillow, and I don't seal it up behind seven locks. I allow myself to feel everything: the tension, the anxiety, the inner noise. And then I exhale. Sometimes it's deep yoga on the floor overlooking the sunset, sometimes it's a hot shower in which all thoughts dissolve, and sometimes it's just silence in which I can hear my pulse returning.
