You're walking along a path in the woods, you're unsure why you're even out there to begin with. You can't make heads or tails of the situation, so you continue on the path in hopes of finding some form of civilization ahead. Eventually you stumble upon a log under your feet. No, it isn't a log.. a sign post. It must've broken under the strain of a storm, perhaps some troublemaker children in the area? You wipe the crusted mud from the face of it, you feel the hand carved lettering underneath. The sign reads LAVENDER TOWN.
Lavender.. town? Surely not, a town? Out here?
You toss the broken signpost to the side and continue on your path. That's when you first get a glimpse of her. Peaking from behind a tree, staring directly at you. It was only an instant. She was there, and then she wasn't. You're seeing things, aren't you?
There's a break in the trees ahead, you see the hint of rooftops coming up over the horizon. You start to pick up speed, there really is a town out here, maybe someone here can help.
Something seems.. off. As you close the distance between yourself and this mysterious Lavender Town, it hits you. This place is dead. No lights. No sounds. No people. Just you, all alone.. well then there's.. her.
You see her again, over there in and about that old playground. She almost seems to be calling you over to her..
