Added 2022-01-08 20:27:38 +0000 UTCMy body is my home. ✌️ I’ve written a new song everyday for the past 16 days and I’ll be honest, I’m exhausted. It’s been way too much time at a desk/computer and in the creation process with other people in locations outside my studio. I’ve grown a lot already and I’m going to keep going. There are more songs to birth. I am improving my songwriting system to make each day quicker and easier so I can spend more time playing freely in my studio, on my yoga mat and outdoors in nature or chillin with friends. When I was younger I just ignored the signs from my body and soldiered on, creating my business at the expense of my health. These days though (especially after COVID times gave me a real chance to experience the deepest self care of my life) I listen and feel my body. My body is my priority. When my back says we’ve been sitting for too long. I get up and move. When my eyes hurt from staring at the screen, I meditate and gaze outside. The art and the work depends on my body. My body is my home and I love being at home. 🍍 Love, Cha
