I also love living with clear deep intentions. A word or theme for each year guides my way. In years past, I’ve had themes of “joy” and “light”. In 2022, my theme was “open, go deeper, intimacy”. In 2023, the theme is…… LAUGH / DANCE This will be our guiding light through the dark storms ahead and the sunshine days on peaceful beaches. Whatever life brings me this year, whatever we go through together… we are going to dance our way through it and find ourselves laughing. What can I do today to make sure I laugh? What shall we do now? Dance. Fuck the day’s plans are thwarted! Dance party! What shall we watch on TV? Something that will make me laugh. Which yoga class should I go to? The one with the teacher who makes me laugh. Thirty seconds on the microwave… dance party! How will this show up in our work and playtime together? In the artwork? In the adventure online and in real life? Maybe we do livestream dance parties! Perhaps I’ll finally teach you laughter yoga (I’m a certified Laughter Yoga Leader… did you know?) hahahahahhaaaa facts. It’s the first thing I signed up to do after graduating college.
