I hand painted this moon phase wall for a sweet toddler’s bedroom. 🖤 For this project, the moons were stamped on with individually cut sponges for a rough base to work off of. I then went in with a small paintbrush and filled each of the moons with black acrylic paint, followed by a sponging of white onto each moon for some dimension. I really liked the black moons with the white detail but I thought it could be a little more EXTRA (my specialty). Since I am incorporating a lot of silver into the room, I brought some silver touches into each of the moons. This made for a more cohesive design theme as well as fun detail that catches your eye in the light. How cute do the silver pillows look with the wall?! There are over 400 moons on this wall!! Each moon was rough stamped, filled with black paint, sponged and splattered with white paint, swirled with silver, and then finally outlined with a black paint marker for stronger contrast against the white wall. Because this wall was done by hand, there were many imperfections. I think this adds to the playfulness of the design and is perfect for the wall of a toddler’s room 🤍 Does anyone want to see more of my interior design projects? Comment and let me know 🙆🏼 🖤
