Been a prick of a few days but we dont dwell on them for too long otherwise you get caught stuck in the past!

Track conditions will be important here I expect the track will stay soft and thats what I am basing my tips off. The rail is back into the true after being out the last 2 meetings so expect the inside few lanes to be no disadvantage!

R1: Tough open race to start with, I loved Haanadys last start win and although he is untested over this trip I find it hard to see why he wont handle it. Hoping from a middle draw he can be close enough in the running line. **No.13 $8.50/$2.80**

R2: Lady of Honour deserves one more chance after a disappointing first up run, she was off a 9 month break there so maybe she needed the race fitness to really be firing which she now has. From a good draw I would hope to see her in the first 3 in running and if she runs upto her old form she is the one to beat. **No.5 $3**

R3: Interesting race this, I wrote off El Rocko last start on a good track he just got beaten but that run suggests to me he is a complete new horse this prep and in a similar race again with a wetter track I think he can run well again here. Mott knows this horse well and should use a good gate to his advantage. **No.11 $6/$2.40**

R4: Open race here again, two at odds I am happy to have a play on. Flash Aah is an underrated horse and his stats read well, 3 wins from 4 first up, 4 wins from 5 over this distance and handles all goings. Awkward draw but over the odds. Winning Partner is a fustrating horse who often gets him self beat by missing the kick but at these odds I am hoping he can begin well enough to be able to win as his last run was very good. **No.8 $16/$4.40 & No.10 $17/$4.60**

R5: The first of the features with the 3yo colts and geldings engaged which is an interesting race as alot of good horses resume and we will find out if they have taken a step since their 2yo form. The favourite looks a very good horse I just cant take him with those odds as a get back run on horse down in distance and drawn near the rails. I havent minded Zamboginis trials and jumpouts this prep and he is an on pace horse which may be the place to be if he can offset the wide draw. **No.10 $6/$2.20**

R6: This is a very good sprint race and two at nice odds again appeal to me, Not An Option absolutely flies fresh and her recent trial was very good, she is drawn well and I think she will be attacking the line hard. Bless Her is a wet tracker through and through and if the track stays soft she is well over the odds. Will get a nice run behind the speed and wasnt beaten far in a good race last start. **No.5 $17/$4.40 & No.12 $19/$4.80**

R7: A very good sprint for the females and I just cant look past the perfectly drawn, race fit Passive Agressive, her trial inbetween runs was super infact as good a trial as you will see and I think she will take a power of running down and there is some quality horses here but they lack fitness with some having poor barriers. **No.7 $2.20**

R8: The first group one in Victoria for this season! ALOT of unknowns here I could list them all but it would be a novel. Tofane seems to appeal to me as she goes good fresh, Group 1 winner this track/distance and is drawn perfect. Alot of these horses have bigger targets but I think she has a booking with a stallion soon so she will be here to win! Im Thunderstruck is a super horse and looks a good place bet too. **No.12 $6.50/$2.40 & No.1 $9/$3**

R9: Really tricky race to finish, siding with No Effort who if the track is playing on pace will take a power of running down, suited back down in trip. Desert Icon is also overs with a nice first up run and a terrific second up record and record at the track. **No.8 $6.50/$2.40 & No.10 $12/$3.80**
