Nocturnal Wonderland is just a month away! I'll be camping there, which means lots of after hours shenanigans 😉 I did this festival for the first time last year and Bob, our friends, and I had such a good time, we immediately bought tickets for the next camping rave, which was Beyond Wonderland at the Gorge in Washington back in June. He and his friends went, while I was left behind because we were still fighting. I packed, cleaned, and repaired our entire apartment and moved by myself while he was on vacation. I bought tickets for Nocturnal Wonderland to make myself feel better, not thinking about how money would be a little tight after my surgery. I realize none of these things are really necessary, but they sure would make the experience a lot more fun & relaxing. What will the money be used for? 1. Sexy wardrobe. I'm planning 3 new festival fits: one is to match my rave squad, a butterfly theme, and an upside down pineapple to signal to other swingers 😈 I'm really hoping to get lucky with some other festival goers. I've also been dying to get some Demonia shoes since they're fashionable AND comfy. 2. Welcome gifts for other campers. For those of you who don't go to festivals, we live by PLUR: Peace Love Unity and Respect. People often trade friendship bracelets, hug their fellow humans put on light shows for each other, and sometimes, give gifts to strangers. I want to put together gift bags for my neighboring campers to kick off the weekend and make some friends right away! I plan on doing camp survival kits for the ladies with hair ties, ear plugs, sleeping masks, and more. 3. I'll need to board my dogs for 4 days. My in laws used to watch them if Bob and I were traveling. This time, I'm on my own, because although Bob and I are getting along again, he's interviewing for a job at his Uncle's company in Washington and will likely move away before the event. I already feel like a burden living with my aunt and uncle and don't feel comfortable asking them to dogsit while I go party. 4. Practical and Decorative Items for base camp. I want to get a swingers flag and some pineapple string lights and tablecloth so everyone knows where the party's at! I also need to purchase a new air mattress since my old one had a leak and it's super important in order to have a great festival camping experience.
