

Wakesurf 101: you can start behind the boat with a rope and then let it go once you feel comfortable in the wave. I’m going to start making in depth instructional videos but I hope if you’re involved in these sports my tip help! The way to tell if you are actually surfing the wave is to use your body weight, to move forward towards the boat you lean your upper body forward, this will put weight on the front foot. To move away from the boat you put weight on the back foot. You can practice moving back and forth til it feels comfortable when you have slack in the rope (not reliant on the rope to stay up) then you’re surfing!
