Added 2021-06-15 20:45:40 +0000 UTCJohnathan helped me add some little details to my closet Rei plugsuit cosplay. I wanted some parts to be 3d like the real suit. I cut little foam circles out and put in some places like the shoulder details. Just putting them in there, though, did not look nice and just lifted the whole fabric. So I put spray adhesive on the sides of the foam and wrapped a rubber band around it to hopefully mold it that way. It made a huge difference in the look. If it ends up working out, I can remove the rubber bands for the shoot. If not, I ordered some white ones to blend in better. I also added some foam to the wrist cuffs! It's not perfect but I am trying to remember this is a fun closet cosplay and not supposed to be super stressful! I love Rei so much and am excited to do two new versions 😊
Thanks to those that have gotten my sets and left tips so far this month! It was awesome having Johnathan here to help and I even got to teach him some new crafting stuff!
