Update on baby Pie 🥰 All I’ve done for the past few days is watch and study this cute wee animal. I’m glued to the tank, mesmerized watching her roam around. The other night I fed her, which I was a little nervous about after reading some snakes might not eat especially if they are scared. Well, the wee mouse wasn’t in the tank longer than 30 mins. If it hadn’t of been for my big fat heed spying on her and putting her off, I think it would have only taken 10 mins to finish her dinner. I think she was hungry 😆 After feeding, I had planned not to see much of her while she had a wee rest after her but nope. She had a semi lazy day yesterday just chilling but tonight she’s been super active and checking out her new home, climbing in her tree. A couple of days before feeding her, I felt she was okay to be moved to her big house which is going well but I’m having issues with the temp and humidity. The small tank was perfect so I’m going to try a lower bulb as removing the heat mat didn’t help. I also had to wire up the light which was fun to do and I didn’t blow up the house in the process 😬 A couple more days and then I feel she’s gonna be ready to be handled. She’s now happy to come out and about when my hand is in the tank but it does get a bit too much and she burrows away again so I think by the end of the week it will be good to try picking her up. And btw a baby snake drinking water is ABSOLUTELY the cutest thing ever 😍 #fyp
