

Relaxed selfies 💚 I thought I’d share some intentions today and some random(ish) musings. Read on if you wanna know my mind more! 🌻
Listening to my body has never been a strong point of mine, I’m in the habit of thinking I need to push harder, do more. If I have time to rest I have time to be productive. Now I’m approaching 36 in a few weeks I’m finally getting the hang of it 😄 If you’ve been hanging around a while you’ll know that Wednesday’s are my “office” days. I used to be a financial adviser but I left that to set up my own dance school about 7 yrs ago. Then an old friend needed some help transitioning to being a self employed adviser so I jumped in 2 days a week to help him. It was only meant to be short term, but that was three years ago now. So on top of doing this, running my dance school, performing most weekends and stripping too some nights in a pre-lockdown world, I was also giving him two days. But burning the candle at both ends can’t last forever! I’ve cut back to 1 day now, Wednesday, and I leave all together in a few weeks. I’ve been truly torn about leaving because, I love my friend with a full heart and I want him to succeed but, I’m honestly bushed! 😂 So today I’ve walked my dog on a new hike that I’ve never done before, and I’m listening to my body and resting! 😋
I guess I’m sharing this because it’s what’s on my mind today, and because this page is sorta like my sexy diary too and I like letting ya’ll in on my musings. Also, if you made it this far, maybe you can tell me what you do during times that you need to rest more and inspire me? ☺️ How do you listen to your body? Or are you working on being able to do this too? Lmk! I’m genuinely interested! ♥️
