Added 2020-12-29 02:48:01 +0000 UTCWell, here comes 44!! I distinctly remember being in my 20’s and dreading my 30’s. Cuz obviously as a gay man, life ends after 29. Or so the 20-somethings tell each other. And then my 30’s happened, and I was like “Wow! That was WAY more fun than my 20’s!” And then four years ago I turned 40, and honestly had no clue what to expect! 4 yrs later, I’ve had more growth (physically, mentally and professionally) than in my 20s and 30’s combined. I think mostly because the ability to give zero fucks about trivial nonsense and stay focused on the few things that really matter gets easier every year! So far in my 40’s, I married the world’s best husband, started my third successful business, and bought our dream house. I wouldn’t mind the ride slowing down a little as 50 inches closer...but take it from this “old” man, kids. Age is completely what you make of it, regardless of how many ticks you have on the odometer! Embrace it and just have fun!
