After having a break from audio books for a bit and cancelling my sub. I have gone back to my catalogue and started working through some of the backlog I already have on there. On book two of a series by Rin Chupeco I first discovered her from “The Girl From The Well” which was a spooky tale about a vengeful girl spirit who kills people who commit murder, and a boy who is troubled by a dark past. Ghosts, murder, rituals with sacrifices, revelations and more. Then I moved onto “The bone witch” series which was also superb. A tale of the dark, bone witches who can get rid of monsters who rise every so often and kill people. But at the expense of their own life over time. Love, battles, betrayal, and so much more. Now I’m onto the “never titling world” series. A story of two twin goddesses who want to fix the world that doesn’t turn. One trapped in night with harsh rainy winds and ice. The other trapped in day with harsh sun that dries up all it touches. Magic, love, lies, dark beings that threaten to roam and devour all….. So glad to of found this new author whom I love!
