Added 2022-01-14 18:42:12 +0000 UTCWanted to share a quick tip about TikTok. I was with @nakedbakers the other day and helped her film a recipe video for TikTok. She uploaded it and after a few hours she checked and it only had a few hundred views. I told her to delete it and reupload it again.
That same video got around 15k views in the same amount of time that it got a few hundred views the first time around. It went on to get over 5 million views (5.7M) at the time of writing this.
It doesn't work everytime, but if a video of yours that you think is good is not getting the attention you think it deserves, try removing it and reuploading it at a different time.
Pro-tip: don't delete it, just archive it and then if the new video does worse, put the archived version back up.
