Added 2022-06-30 14:45:47 +0000 UTCwhat a women’s bathing suit in the 1920s looked like this thing is 100% wool and itchy as hell. the whole thing slides on (you step into it) and it buttons at the top on one side. it’s got attached shorts underneath the skirt. this one still has the original label - the Monarch bathing suit company - and they’re hard to find nowadays. This came from an old, long abandoned general store a few states away, found by friends of ours.
