Added 2022-07-15 21:09:25 +0000 UTCIf I was a military academy cadet 🫡 This is a 1941 military academy formal jacket covered in pins, patches and other decorative recognition from the cadet’s time at Culver Academy. For those that follow along on the shop’s IG, we also have purple satin athletic wrestling shorts with patched on awards, and a hoodie with the traditional Culver patches from that same time period. All came into the shop at the same time, from different sources, totally coincidentally. Likely the cadets that owned these items saw wartime, although we’re still looking through the graduation and draft lists to try to pin down what happened to them upon graduation. For the detail oriented: the Culver iconography is a beaver, the irony of which isn’t lost on me.
