Hello from your favorite vintage shopkeep, here modeling a 1950s denim chore coat because I got all my chores done today 💋 More seriously, denim chore coats are HOT right now. Denim chore coats were designed as workwear coats in the late 19th century in France and were typically worn by those enduring tough physical work: railroad workers, farmers, etc. They were made slightly oversized to throw on over overalls and by the 1920s, we’re widely manufactured. This one is a 1950s Hercules denim chore coat with a blanket liner with a perfect wear to it.
