Added 2022-08-25 16:18:38 +0000 UTCthis might be the raddest jacket I’ve ever sold it’s a purple satin, fully embroidered military souvenir jacket with embroidered dragon liberty cuffs. liberty cuffs are an unauthorized decorative embroidery done on the insides of the cuffs popularized in the navy before WW1. during leave (or “liberty” away from the ship) the cuffs would be rolled up where the designs could be seen. dragons and mermaids were a popular design used throughout the navy during WW2. this thing hung on the wall of the shop for maybe 48 hours before it sold 💜
