The New Orleans Saints were founded in 1966 and named after the well-known Jazz classic “When the Saints Go Marching In.” The team colors are black and gold which is allegedly from the days of olde when they would practice at the New Orleans Athletic Club, which is situated on the edge of the French quarter where the original building featured black and gold decorative colors. Of course they weren’t called the Saints back then, and there wasn’t an NFL yet. Saint stuff sells almost instantly in the shop – we even have a wait list of people that have us call them as soon as we get a vintage piece in. I was lucky to get to try this one on!
