God Bless America! ๐บ๐ธ๐ฆ ๐ This flag is a 48 star flag which was used for a period of just under 50 years for a period of time between 1912 in the 1960s when Hawaii was adopted, adding a new star. The flag Iโm using here is from World War II and is the same type of flag that was raised in Iwo Jima, and the same kind sent home to loved ones when soldiers were lost. Theyโre not that hard to find, but ones in good shape can be. They usually made of heavy cotton and go for between 100 to 400 bucks. (for my patriotic folk in this crowd, rest, assured, I took very careful care of this flag, when posing with it)
