I was awoken at 3am - 30 mins before my alarm to go to the airport by alarms and my apartment was soo hot! I looked out on the balcony on 34th floor and saw fire falling from next door down the side of the building with our neighbours shouting. Then I realised the building was literally on fire! So we ran down 34 flights of stairs to the bottom and we got out safely. First time ever experiencing something like that. Now we are at a hotel until we can go back in to get out stuff if it’s not destroyed. Bare foot and wearing a shirt and little pj shorts but thankful it wasn’t any worse! 🙏
