Added 2022-04-10 17:04:58 +0000 UTCYou know, I keep seeing women captioning their photos “no filter/no edits” and I get it. Women have been portraying themselves in an unrealistic way, and it’s unhealthy. Some of them are STILL lying when they say that.
And I’ll be honest with you…I edit my varicose veins on my legs. If I have a blemish, I’ll edit that too.
I have sun damage on my cheeks from laying out in the sun without sun screen my whole life, so I even out the skin tone on my face.
If we fuck in real life, you’re going see these flaws.
So I’m guilty of edits.
I do portray myself as realistic as possible, but remove tiny details that make me feel uncomfortable.
But this filter is beautiful, isn’t it?
Sometimes I think a filter is fun, and I rarely do it.
You won’t catch me with bunny ears or whiskers though.
