I was going to film a naked sex ed video today, but wow I need pajamas, no makeup, and to study my ass off.
Instead, I wanted to show you guys some pics. These were taken in 2020. I had been camming for a bit, but I was moving to a new city and I had the goal to become a stripper. I asked one of my best friends who’s an amazing photographer to take these. Looking pretty hot eh? I love these photos. But also, they’re not ‘me’. Like, at all. I’m not that hardcore or badass lol. I’m much more gentle, and much more silly! When I started checking out the strip clubs, I felt super intimidated even when the other girls were really nice. But then it hit me. It wasn’t that I wasn’t ‘good enough’. It was that I just really am not the vibe! They’re cool people, but not MY people.
Now that I do porn, I have definitely found MY people. And I’m quite grateful for that.
I’ve had this experience with other careers I’ve had as well. Doula care, theatre, counselling, all of it!
So let that be a piece of advice. If you’re thinking about a new career, a new city, a new anything, see if the people are your vibe! If they’re not, it’s not because they’re better than you, it’s just that they’re not your people. Cool? Cool.
