Today I was browsing my film archives on my MacBook and unearthed some footage I never released from way back at the beginning of the pandemic in early 2020. I had taken off for a week into the Appalachian mountains of North Carolina, staying in a cabin and gone skinny dipping one morning after a rain storm; when the temperatures were only hovering above freezing point. *I look occasionally distracted* on video because while I was filming, on either side of the creek occasionally a group of hunters were hiking either up or down the trails. being spotted in this precarious set up would have been incredibly awkward and uncomfortable. remember, I was in deep Appalachian country, so a tattooed woman "performing" naked for a camera set up on a tripod, in freezing water...would have been a p e c u l i a r sight indeed! Oh the way I suffer for my art. tip me $5 if you want to see more naked nature content. I'm dying to take side trips out into the wilderness. Feeling anxious about the weather and seasons shifting, I need to go touch the land and have it touch me back.
