Let this be a warnining to you introverts!! Socializing can cause infection diseases inside your body 😅😂😩 looooool jk (not jk). 72 hours in Chicago and 72 hours in Raleigh - all with people who were vaccinated (like myself, *hello triple-poke here*!) and while I felt “off” it was only normal “off”...international jetlag, which throws whole body out of whack, and springtime allergies like a subtle nasal drip and sneezing. I should have been more proactive though during the days stateside, self testing. I apparently had a false-negative test day before my return flight to Portugal (which is how I was able to board plane) but while running to catch flight in CDG (a despised chaotic airport!!) I felt like my lungs were going to collapse. I might have just returned to gym life, but I’m not *that* out of shape. So once I had landed in PT and walked into my house, I did a self test. Tested positive. I slept TWĒLVE HOURS (12) last night, and today feels like a regular head cold and some brain fog. Mild symptoms - that’s the vaccine working 😌 Completely housebound until I test negative. I’ll be reading travel magazines and slothing around.
