Today is also the 1 year anniversary of moving to Europe! one of the most challenging but beneficial decisions I’ve ever made for my life. I woke up early this morning smiling, had my morning latte, slinked around house In my kimono…then it occurred to me; I have no birthday plans today. I had wanted to do a small celebration with the handful of people I know in Portugal, but as luck should have it, they’re all out of town. And all my truest friends are back in the USA. So I am spending my birthday alone for the second year in a row. It’s wild that I’ve lived in Portugal for 12 months already… I moved here on my 36th birthday. It would have been lovely to spend today with people I love and who love me.
