Added 2022-06-12 18:55:00 +0000 UTCI spent the whole weekend in Paris, for my birthday. A suîtor bought me plane ticket as a gift, to send me on a solo trip, which was just so goddamn lovely. For 3 days I made zero content, didnt answer emails, hardly even looked at my phone. Unplugged to stay present in the joy of a special trip for my 37th, first time in years returning to Paris, having the occasion to see incredible new art and connecting with old friends and ex lovers. My heart feels full. Today is my last day in Paris. My favourite hobby tugged me way up out 19th Arrondissement today. To this photobooth. But only after I’d been to two separate arrondissements to track down a shortlist of working photobooths. These are so rare, and there is such a small number still working in the world, and they are so costly and specialized to maintain…that often the booths get moved, sold to private collectors or worse…replaced with a digital photobooth! I had intel on three booths today, so I spent hours tracking them down to find that two were no longer, but this model 17 dinosaur with the 1960’s was still standing.
