So it turns out I should have been checking my teacher email… because last Thursday they emailed me to tell me my contract was extended from Friday to this coming Thursday. I hilariously found out this morning when the principal called to ask if I was coming to work. After a brief moment of silence followed by mutual laughter I rushed as fast as I could and somehow made it on time. All that to say, today was not what I expected. Some Random Guy™️ was gone all day too doing our once-every-few-months city run (we live rural) so that added to the chaos.
