I've always been curious about them but was intimidated to go. Though it's easy to speak about confidence, it's difficult even for me to practice getting out of my comfort zone.
But what I thought would be a hyper sexualized, and body comparing community, turned out to be very down to earth. Being nude and not having anyone be aggressive was freeing to me.
In a way it's like therapy, helping me heal from my sexual trauma. It reminds me that no one has permission to grab, touch or coerce you... even if you're butt ass fucking naked.
I've been to Blacks Beach only a few times, but each time is an even more comfortable and empowering experience than the last.
