I stupidly thought.."Wow, Balinese full moon party, they take this shit seriously " Like, it's Bali, and rituals are kinda their thing lol. They even offer 3 rituals a day to the Gods of the Island. So I'm all naive and thinking this is some cultural shindig. Turns out, the music's actually coming from this dude who's on a protest mission! Like, he's trying to, get this, bully the retreat owners into giving him a job. 😭😭😭 So, I ring up the retreat hosts and say "Can you move me somewhere else? And please, for the love of all things! make the noise stop😫😫😫." And they're super apologetic and offer me a free massage, which actually ended up being my first massage ever, preformed by a SUPER hot balineese girl 😍 i was crushing so hard lol Anyway, I end up chatting with the lady who runs the place, and she's got this amused smile on her face. she thinks it's kinda cute that I mistook the music madness for some local tradition. She spills the beans that they actually went to the village chief to get him to STOP. Moral of the story for all the Balinese peeps out there: cranking up the music as a tactic to land a job? Not exactly a playlist for success.😂😂😂
