Added 2021-09-07 13:04:10 +0000 UTCThis destination is only 16 miles from where I live, but I had to drive 43 miles of dirt roads that had been neglected for so long that at some points, I felt I wasn’t on a road anymore! This is the type of alone time that I really appreciate though❤️ I intended on taking photos with Cogswell Tower, but realized the shot was from the bottom of the canyon (which is a choosy boulder scramble) where there are most likely mountain lions living😅 So I made due with what I had and shot what I felt inspired by to make the long drive worth it❤️
