Added 2021-02-17 02:39:00 +0000 UTCAhh you guys I didn't even realize the final results came in for my last poll! π² So it looks like everyone agrees with me that YES I should DEFINITELY get another tattoo π Question is, what should I get? π€ Well don't you fret your pretty little heads π cuz I done thought about this for a *while* now π I've been debating between 2 designs... Can you help me figure out which one to get?? (Swipe to see examples) [I'm gonna leave this poll open until the end of the month because I'm hoping to get enough votes and funds by then to actually get the tattoo! π€] Option 1: 'Ai', the Chinese/Japanese character for love (which is also the first part of my name π). Love plays an important role in my (and I feel should be in everyone's) life, and this particular design was obtained by my recently deceased grandpa who, about 10 yrs ago (when I first wanted this tattoo), specifically went and found a calligrapher in China to write this for me β€οΈ I'd like this character to be encircled by the ensΕ (Zen circle) and be placed somewhere on the back of my neck/in between my shoulder blades. Option 2: "I'd rather be here now.", written in a frank and straightforward font. It seems a bit tacky, I'll admit π , but it's a motto I really try to live by. We've all had regrets in our lives, have all sometimes wondered 'what-if?', but I think the important thing is to appreciate where you are *now* and remind yourself that while you can't change the past, you can move forward with all that you've gained and experienced and ok Soosh we get it blah blah blah π anyway, I'd want this somewhere on my forearm (would be my first very exposed tattoo!). Option 3: Get both!
