It was a puzzle to solve in order to reveal the map, and now that they have finally solved the puzzle, I think they're going to hunt for the treasure. Little do they know they have something interesting waiting for them at the dig site: A Qwyllion! The thing is a evil aberration with resistances to acid, cold, fire, lightning; bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing from nonmagical weapons. Since my party tends to lean towards acid or fire damage, they're going to find themselves at a bit of a loss! I can't wait!
