

Tackling Self-Doubt and Building Confidence in 2021✨ Self confidence does not come naturally for most of us. In fact, it takes consistent work and attention over a long time to truly feel confident and sure of yourself. Below are my favorite tips to help build your self confidence and kick out the self-doubt a little bit at a time. 1. Get dressed up - do your hair, makeup, and put on some real clothes. Even if you’re just staying home, it sparks a happier mood and more self confidence. I like to couple this with some loud music and dancing around my room 😉 2. GET OFF SOCIAL MEDIA - they say comparison is the thief of joy and that could not be more true. When you start to feel that doubt creep in, get off social media ASAP. Go do something else to get your mind and body working. 3. MOVE - you feel better when your body is happy. Even something as simple as a 15 min walk can pull you out of a funk and turn your mood around. (Mood is related to self confidence of course) 4. Be kind - you get back the same energy you put out so kindness really is a cycle that can lift us up. Even if you have to force a smile at the start, it gets easier and eventually you’re bouncing around full of happiness and confidence 🤗 5. Keep good company - surround yourself with people who make you feel good about yourself but also push you to be your best self! This can be daunting at first because, again, we often compare ourselves and our accomplishments to others. But you will only be dragged down by those negative, complaining, validation-seeking friends (sorry for the bluntness here) What else do you guys do to build your self confidence?
